Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we’ll do our best to help.
Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@capu.de - with your order number, and we’ll see what we can do.
Once an order has shipped, changes or cancellations are no longer possible, but you can still return it once it arrives.
Do you take cash in an envelope?
No.
But we admire the commitment.
Has my order been confirmed?
You will automatically receive an order confirmation via email once your order has been successfully processed.
If you have not received a confirmation email, and payment has been taken off your account, please reach out to us at contact@capu.de or call us on +49 89 50008290 and we'll sort this out immediately.
How can I use my promo code?
At checkout, you can copy/paste it into the Promo Code section and we'll automatically deduct the discount from your order.
If you think you have a valid Promo Code and it doesn't work, reach out to us at contact@capu.de and we'll sort you out immediately!
How long will it take to get my order?
It depends on where you are and what shipping service you select at checkout. We offer standard and express shipping with live rates shown at checkout.
Orders are processed within 24h and will take 1-6 business days to arrive anywhere in Europe. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 5-21 business days.
Delivery and tracking details will be provided in your confirmation email.
I'm unable to place my order, can you help?
If you encounter difficulties when placing your order, try using the Google Chrome browser, and delete your cache and internet cookies in the case of slow browsing.

What happens if I made a mistake with my order?
It happens.
If you entered the wrong address or selected the wrong item, contact us immediately at contact@capu.de
If the order is still with us, we can fix it. If it’s already on the way, we’ll guide you through the next steps.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Revolut Pay, Visa, Mastercard and Maestro credit and debit cards.
All available methods are shown at checkout.
All payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment providers using industry-standard security protocols. Your payment details are never stored on our servers.
Can you teleport my grinder?
Not yet. If we had a working teleporter, we’d definitely use it.
Until then, our trusted shipping partners deliver for us.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes.
We offer free shipping on selected orders and regions, which will be shown automatically at checkout when applicable.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world.
We deliver across Europe and most international destinations, including the USA and Canada.
Available countries are shown automatically at checkout. If you can select your country, we ship there.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your grinder from our hands to yours.
If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder, sometimes it likes to hide there.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on your location and will be clearly displayed at checkout before you pay.
For international orders, we ship DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid). This means shipping is covered, but import taxes or duties may be charged by your local customs upon delivery. These fees are set by your country, not by CAPU®.
We always keep things transparent. If additional charges apply, they come from customs, not from us.
What happens if I am not home during the time of my delivery?
The courier will attempt to deliver your parcel twice.
If you are still not available to accept your parcel, it will be delivered to your local depot for your collection within 10 days.
Without collection from your local depot on your part, the parcel will be returned to CAPU.
You will then be sent an email outlining a choice between a free re-dispatch, a refund or a store credit.
Where do you ship from?
All CAPU® orders are quality checked and shipped from Germany.
What if my package is marked as delivered but hasn’t arrived?
First, check around your delivery address or with neighbours. Parcels sometimes arrive early or take a short detour.

Our mission is simple: to get you grinding and having a great time. We’ll look into it with the carrier and, depending on the situation, we’ll find a solution, including sending a replacement if needed.
What is your return policy?
You can return your order within 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a return.
The item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in the original packaging.
What is your return procedure?
It's very straight forward.
Just reach out to us at contact@capu.de with your order number and ask for a return.
We'll then send you a return label.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund within 3 business days.
Depending on your payment provider, it may take 5–10 additional business days for the funds to appear in your account.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping is handled the same way as outbound shipping.
If your order was shipped for free, we’ll also cover the return shipping.
If shipping costs applied to your original order, return shipping is usually handled by the customer.
That said, we’re a small team and we handle returns case by case. Our priority is that you’re happy in the end, so if something doesn’t feel right, just reach out and we’ll find a fair solution together.
Do CAPU® grinders come with a warranty?
Yes. All CAPU® grinders come with a lifetime guarantee, which covers manufacturing and material defects for 10 years from the original purchase date.
Every grinder is individually inspected by hand before it leaves us. If something does go wrong due to a defect in materials or workmanship, just contact us - we’ll repair or replace the affected part or product, depending on the situation.
The guarantee applies to the original purchaser and doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, cosmetic changes, or loss. A valid proof of purchase is required for any claim.
In short: we build our grinders to last, and if something isn’t right, we’ll take care of it, fairly and transparently.
Is a premium grinder really worth it?
That depends on how often you use it - and how much the experience matters to you.
Most people start with a cheap grinder. It works… until it doesn’t. Teeth dull, threads stick and sooner or later you’re buying the next one.
A premium grinder is different. It’s smoother, more consistent, and simply more satisfying to use. It doesn’t fight you, it doesn’t wear out quickly, and it doesn’t need replacing every year. Over time, showing it care, it often costs less, not more.
If grinding is part of your routine, a better tool turns a small, repeated moment into something you actually enjoy. That’s what you’re paying for.

What materials do you use, and are they safe?
We only use highest-quality, carefully selected materials such as premium-grade aluminium, stainless steel, and titanium, depending on the edition. The materials we use are the best Mother Earth has to offer.
All materials are safe, durable, and suitable for long-term use. We don’t use cheap alloys or coatings that wear off over time. And definitely no plastic, ever!
Where are CAPU® grinders made?
All CAPU® grinders are designed in Germany, and engineered by Germans, with a strong focus on precision, functionality, and longevity.
Because “good enough” isn’t a compliment here.
Will it grind better than my friend’s grinder?
Yes.
And your friend will notice.
Can I put my grinder in the dishwasher?
We don’t recommend it.
Dishwashers use high heat and strong detergents, which can affect finishes and precision over time.
Hand cleaning is gentler, and faster than you’d think.
Can I use alcohol (like isopropyl alcohol) to clean my grinder?
You may have seen isopropyl alcohol (IPA) mentioned online - and yes, it can remove buildup effectively.
For occasional deep cleaning, a small amount of IPA can be used carefully. Avoid long soaking times and always rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
For anodised aluminium grinders, frequent or aggressive use of alcohol may dull the finish over time. For titanium grinders, IPA is generally more tolerant - but moderation is still best.
For regular care, warm water and mild soap are safer and more than enough.
How do I clean my grinder?
For regular cleaning, we recommend keeping it simple:
Disassemble your grinder, gently brush out residue, and clean the parts with warm water and mild soap. Dry everything thoroughly before reassembling.
Regular light cleaning keeps performance consistent and finishes looking good.
